On September 5-6, 2024 members of the CERTAIN FORS (Competency, Education, Research, Testing, Accreditation, and Innovation in Forensic Science) project work package 4, Training and competence assessment for Forensic Handwriting Experts, held final meeting of the project at the State Forensic Science Bureau in Riga Latvia. With certain regret the team has finished the work, that started in Zagreb and finished in Riga. The team has hold seven live and numerous e-meetings, which resulted in 37 e-learning modules covering aspects of traditional handwriting examination and digitally captured signatures examination. Modules are enriched with quizzes and multimedia. The team also prepared an error mitigation checklist/tool and proficiency testing concept with range of expected results. The project has already been presented at various conferences and will be presented again in USA. A scientific paper will be published this year as well.
