Research on plant species identification markers for forensic purposes

We are proud of Dr Kristīne Dokāne, a forensic scientist of the Department of Biological and Chemical Investigations, who has conducted extensive research on plant species identification markers for forensic purposes in the recently established SFSB non-human DNA examination laboratory. The results of the research have been published in the journal "Forensic Science International - Analysis of markers for forensic plant species identification".
