The second workshop within the framework of the project “Operational capacity building of forensic examination of tobacco and other plant-based substances” is held at the Forensic Science Bureau of Latvia from 18 till 18 October 2021. SFSB forensic experts work closely together with the lecturers from the Netherlands Forensic Institute in order to learn best experience in the field of plant DNA examination.
The project is funded by the European Union’s Hercule III programme. The main goal of the project is to strengthen SFSB technological capacity to provide high-quality forensic evidence in the field of tobacco examination and examination of other plant-based substances.
